Indonesia's premium and heritage rail experiences, where the train itself is the point rather than a way of getting somewhere. This covers the classes that sit above eksekutif on scheduled services — Compartment Suite, Luxury Sleeper, Panoramic and the KAI Wisata tourist carriages — along with the surviving steam operations in Central Java and the forthcoming Nusantara Explorer. Several of these run on routes already covered elsewhere on this site; the difference is the carriage, the service and the price, not the destination.
